Dear Reader,

Sorry but this blog will have to be short and sweet because I am totally popped. Today started with breakfast which was amazing! After that we got to break off in groups.  One group went to wacky bear, mine went to race remote control cars, and the other got to go see the seals and dolphins.  We went eat lunch after that.  When we got done with lunch we went to rehearsals.  There we got to learn opening number which is so cute!  After that we had twenty minutes to get ready for a cocktail party.  I came back to the room got ready for tomorrow and now Im laying down.  A really cool thing so far is that everywhere we go we have security because people will like track us down to take pictures.  Also we got a free straightener, two video cameras and free hair products.  I’m still in shock!  Well I’m off to bed! Night.

Have a great day,

My 1st day at Miss Teen USA

Dear Reader,

Hey everyone before I start talking about my day I just want to tell everyone thank you that has been supporting me and wishing me goodluck. Today started off kind of ruff.  To start off I had to wake up at 4 A.M. because my flight was supposed to be at 6 A.M. and I had to be in hair in make-up.  When I arrived at the airport they told me my flight was CANCELLED!  So that was definitely crazy and to top that my connecting flight I had to run to.  Just get a mental picture of a girl in a banner fully dressed in hair and make-up running through the airport in heels.  Yes it was definitely a funny sight.  It all turned out fine in the end I just ended up arriving to the Bahamas a hour and a half late.  When i finally went through customs and retrived my luggage we were on our way to Atlantis. :)   It was really cool a bunch of people were asking for pictures; I felt like a celebrity.  I finally checked in and met Mary Helen in the room and got settled in.  After, we walked on the beach and took some pictures.  We came back up to the room, got some working out in and steamed all of our clothes and now we are finally resting.  The craziest thing is today will be my most relaxing day here, but I’m still excited!

God Bless,

Brittany Guidry

Dear Readers,

Two weeks ago I was in New York  for a modeling job and had the opportunity to have lunch with Miss USA Kristen Dalton.  We talked about how we’ve been and about our pageants.  I had a great time!  Tomorrow I leave for the Bahamas and I am so excited.  My flight is at 6 A.M.!!  I’m definitely not a morning person and I have to be in hair in make up so i’ll be up really early. I’m really excited to see all of the girls I meet over the year and meet new ones.  I miss them so much.  I’ll be blogging my whole week at Miss Teen USA so keep reading. :)

This weekend I attended the Miss USA pageant to support the three RPM girls.  I had the most amazing time!  I meet 41 other teen state title holders and they are all great girls.  I can’t wait until Miss Teen USA!  Watching all the girls compete made me want compete so bad, so I’m definitely preparing.  The most exciting thing about my weekend would have to be watching all three RPM girls.  They were so beautiful and did an amazing job!  Especially since one took the crown home;congrats Kristen :) !  While I was at the pageant, I was privileged to meet Donald Trump and Kevin Rudolf, Miss Universe, Crystal Stewart, Stevi Perry, Miss  Universe 2008, and many current and past state title holders.   It wasn’t just about the pageant while I was there though I was able to walk through the Miracle Mile shops in Planet Hollywood, walk up and down the main strip,  and ride the New York New York roller coaster.  The pageant was still the best part of my whole trip. :D

This Saturday I had a booth at CASA for Kids in Houma. Every booth was a different country and mine was India. We had coffee for the adults and face painting for the kids. We received the award for the most active booth. It was an awesome time. My friends, Corinne and Raven, even helped out with the booth along with my Mom and Dad.  After CASA me and my mom had to travel to Lafayette for orientation for Miss Teen Lafayette USA 2009. I gave up my crown on Sunday. It was great.  I got to see all of my pageant friends.
